Inquiry Question - Revolutions create change and can be affected by people who believe that they lack access to power and privilege.
A revolution is not a trail of roses. A revolution is a fight to the death between the future and the past.

3. Jigsaw activity, splitting the class up into 6 groups and assign each group one page to create Cornell notes on, after they have created the notes together for their group, they will split off into smaller groups which will have 1 person from each of the original 6 groups in it and they will each teach the other members what was said on their page and they will create a notes package out of it.
NEXT time we discussed assigning each group a power point slide(s) to create their notes on and then we present it to the class and take notes on it as a whole that way instead of switching groups and presenting to each other that way This would be a good way to introduce presenting projects to the class.

4. Chapter questions if not done.
5. Build American Revolution Game for review answering T/F questions with the game.
In the game instructions it does not have T/F questions in it, I adapted it to allow my students to review course content while playing the game to review in a more fun and creative way, the class really enjoyed this game.
The instructions say each member of the team gets to roll a marble down the ramp as many times as they have players on the board, I changed it to: each side gets to ask the other 3 T/F questions, however many they get right is how many times they get to roll the marble to knock over opponents. For example the Patriots ask the British three T/F questions, if the British get 2 correct they then get to roll the marble twice before asking the Patriots three questions. This seemed to work well and the students really enjoyed this game. - Provide more than an hour to play this game AFTER you have built it in order to get through each battle, OR have the students color the soldiers and create the playing board in a previous class so all they have to do is cut out the soldiers and the ramp. ALSO use a way bigger piece of paper for the game board.
